Who the Polar Care Wave ankle package is for
The Breg Polar Care Wave ankle package suits recovery from ankle surgery or a recent ankle injury when your surgeon prescribes cold with compression. Common examples are a fracture repair, a ligament reconstruction or ankle arthroscopy (surgery through small incisions). The set includes the Wave unit and Breg's foot/ankle cold compression pad. Breg's stated purpose for the Wave is to reduce swelling and pain after surgery or injury when cold and compression are both needed.
For comparison, a Game Ready cold therapy system costs roughly ten times as much as the Polar Care Wave.

Wave ankle FAQ
Does the Wave turn itself off?
Only if both therapies have been switched off for more than 15 minutes. There's no treatment timer, and some owners say a smart plug won't restart it after cutting power.
Can I use it without compression?
Yes. Turn compression to Off if your surgeon wants cold only.
Will Cube or Kodiak pads fit the Wave?
No. Only Breg Wave cold compression pads connect; extra Wave pads are available separately.

U.S. federal law allows the Polar Care Wave to be sold only by or on the order of a medical professional. Breg covers manufacturing defects for 180 days.
