Machine doesn’t work. I had a total hip replacement. Came home after surgery thinking this expensive device would combat the swelling. Nothing!! Machine will not get cold. I went through trouble shooting with Breg who turn around and said contact the third party you purchased it from!!
OrthoBracing has not been responsive. This machine was a $400.00 waste with the hip compression unit.

We did respond to you before hours this morning and apologized to you about the defective unit and submitted a warranty claim to Breg to have a replacement overnighted to you. We understand your frustration but please know that we are doing all we can to fix this issue for you.

Almost perfect

I do like the machine a lot. However, using it has its issues. The ice bags do not keep it cold for long. Using only ice is much better but then you need to make a lot of ice. When you pull off the top you need to set it in something as it drains a lot of water. Which has to be empty out. So it keeps you moving around when your knee is hurting.

Recommend it

I like the unit. Easy to use and direction we precise. I have back pad only. Like the compression along with cold. Only concern is tube connection from unit to pad seem a bit flimsy so treating with kid gloves. Along would have like to set tube connection to pad on side and not on bottom. With it on bottom I feel like I'm sitting on it and possibly damaging connection. Definitely does what it's advertised to do and definitely help with back issues I have.

Easy to use

This device is good. I am currently just using the hip sleeve due to a recent hip surgery (PAO), but I plan on getting other sleeves as I see the potential for more use. It has really been helping with reducing swelling and pain. I love that the sleeve can be detached from the device, making it easy to move about (and even use the restroom) without having to take the sleeve off. I had no issues with shipping or setting it up. The only thing is that I wish the product was also battery operated so I can travel while using it. You would think it would be considering the price.

Perfect Option

Used hip sleeve for icing after total hip replacement. Much more useful than ice packs; those can be uncomfortable and hard to position. The sleeve is perfect for directing the cool flow to where it’s needed. Only issue is with minor leakage at the connector, more pronounced when icing in bed. The compression feature could be better as did not add enough pressure for my liking. But that’s a knit-pic.
