Breg Polar Care Cube Gasket Replacement

If you have inherited a Breg Polar Care Cube from a friend, you might find that the gasket has dry rotted. This is common for rubber gaskets that are not properly maintained over a several year period.

Replacing the Gasket on a Polar Care Cube/Kodiak Lid

Remove the old gasket. If a gasket is already installed, carefully peel it away from the lid.
Clean the surface. Remove any remaining adhesive or glue from the lid so the surface is clean, dry, and smooth before installing the new gasket.
Prepare the new gasket. Peel off the backing to expose the adhesive.
Align the gasket. Starting at one end, carefully line up the gasket with the groove on the underside of the lid.
Press the gasket into place. Slowly press the gasket onto the lid, working your way around the opening. Apply firm, even pressure along the entire length of the gasket to ensure it adheres securely.
Check the installation. Verify that the gasket is evenly aligned and fully attached with no gaps, twists, or lifted edges before using the machine again.

Tip: Once the gasket makes contact with the lid, avoid pulling it back up, as this can reduce the strength of the adhesive. Take your time when aligning it before pressing it firmly into place.

Breg Polar Care Kodiak Gasket

Wen have used Bregs Kodiac for several years. I made the mistake of selling it , thinking would not need it again. Great Product. THEN, I had right shoulder replace ment; well the quality was NOT the same. Bregs sent replacements, BUT 2 were cubes NOT Kodiacs. I received 2 Kodiac, both lasted very short time, I an not able to use pain pils . Tese Kodiacs pumps went out , they ran; BUT NO pump. The 3rd Kpoodiac seems to be good so far. Let me tell you shoulder joint replacement is miserable and reall y miserable without yhe Kodiac. Thanks for replaceing the bad machines. Micheal

Best product to use after total knee replacement surgery

The Breg Polar Care machine is essential to use after a total knee replacement surgery. Trust me, I know first hand. I had my right knee done 11/21/24 and my left knee done 6/17/25 - both times I used the Breg ice therapy machine and it saved me! Ice and elevation is key to keeping down swelling. And it also helps alleviate the pain after exercising. Please do yourself a favor, if total knee replacement surgery is on the horizon for you or a family member, purchase one of the Breg Polar Ice machines, and you will be forever grateful that you did. Also, I used empty and clean plastic Gatorade bottles and water instead of ice cubes . Stays cold all night long. Good luck!
